Add your domain
Add the domain in your SMTPServer panel and choose the IP to configure it with. (Free accounts don't get the IP selector.)
Use a different domain, or even a subdomain, for each purpose. It's a better way to communicate with your clients, and SMTPServer includes it with every dedicated IP.
One domain takes less than 5 minutes to set up. Here is the whole process.
Add the domain in your SMTPServer panel and choose the IP to configure it with. (Free accounts don't get the IP selector.)
Within seconds the system generates the DNS records for your domain, ready to copy.
In your DNS provider, create CNAME records with the Host and Value data from SMTPServer. Keep TTL at default.
Back in SMTPServer, the domain flips from Pending to Active once DNS verifies — usually within 5 minutes.
If your DNS provider offers a proxy option (like Cloudflare's orange cloud), switch it off for these records. Keep them DNS-only.
CNAME changes can take up to 72 hours to propagate, though they usually apply considerably sooner.
